Alleged speeders arrested
MERRIMACK – Two men were arrested Tuesday night after they were caught speeding in separate cars, both at more than 80 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 101A in Merrimack.
Douglas Riccio, 20, of 869 Crescent St. in East Bridgewater, Mass., and Jarrid Forrence, 25, of 20 Mobile Coach Lane in Mont Vernon, were arrested and charged with reckless driving at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers used stationary radar and found that Riccio and Forrence were both driving at more than double the 40 mph speed limit. Police stopped the cars and made the arrests. Riccio and Forrence were then transported to the Merrimack Police Department to be processed.
