MERRIMACK – Rivet Funeral Home and Crematorium was founded by George and Jean Rivet in 1962. After George’s death in 1993, their son, Mark, became the owner. In 1995, Mark realized that cremation was being chosen by many families so Merrimack Cremation Service was opened on Henry Clay Drive. Since 1995, the number of people choosing cremation has almost doubled and many religious ceremonies are conducted at the crematory; a new facility with a large chapel was constructed in 2020. Also, All Paws and Pets Crematory was started to help people care for their pets and is located in the original building.

Rivet provides families with the very best in personal and professional service. As a full-service funeral home, crematory and pet crematory we are able to meet the needs of every family we serve. We recognize the importance of tradition and faith and we strive to help our families create services as unique as their loved one regardless of the service or situation.

Our funeral home has ample comfortable seating for all visitors and family. The spacious chapel and large parking lot is able to comfortably accommodate the largest of services.
