MERRIMACK — The Merrimack Rotary Club is hosting the Turkey Trot 5K Road Race on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27.

Registration starts at 7 a.m. and the race will start at 8 a.m. The race will be held at Merrimack Middle School, 31 Madeline Bennett Dr.

Pre-registration is $15 for children up to age 13 and $25 for adults. Race Day registration will increase to $30 for adults. All proceeds will go to Coats for Kids and other community services.

The first 200 registrants will receive a free t-shirt. To pre-register, visit www.merrimack5k.com. Sponsorships are also available.

Participants are asked to bring one canned good for the local food banks.

RunSignUp is helping with the registration process this year. There will be chips in the bibs for accurate timing and to speed up the process of announcing the winners.
