Robert G. Cook, 66, resident of Milford, NH, died on June 1, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Lynn, MA on June 16, 1953, a son of Lewis F. Cook and Rita D. (Moore) Cook. Bob was raised and educated in Lynn, MA and made his home in Milford, NH for the past 35 years.

Bob was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War.

He had been employed as a machine maintenance technician at Hitchiner Manufacturing Company, Milford, NH for over 20 years. Bob was a member of the New Hampshire Board of Manufacturing, as well as president of the Souhegan Valley Manufactured Housing Cooperative. Bob also volunteered for the Milford Lions Club.

Bob loved spending time with family and being a proud and loving Papa to his two grandchildren Makenna Cook and Dean Cook. Bob also loved working on cars, spending time on home improvement projects and could fix anything. Bob would help anyone who needed it, regardless of time or difficulty.

Family members include his spouse of 27 years, Jeannine Harris of Milford, NH; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert G Cook Jr and Jacqueline of Amherst, NH; two grandchildren, Makenna Cook and Dean Cook of Amherst, NH; two stepsons, Raymond Harris of New Ipswich, NH and Donald Harris of Arkansas; two sisters, Audrey Bright of Milford, NH and Barbara D’Amore of Greene, ME; and a brother, Walter “Ricky” Cook of Litchfield, ME.

There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
