Eugene Alfred Hartson

Eugene “Gene” Alfred Hartson, 94, resident of Manchester, NH, died on February 11th, 2021 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.

He was born November 8, 1926 in Amherst, NH, the son of Mildred (Stahl) and Harold Hartson. He lived for over 60 years in Milford, NH, with his wife Marion (Pelchat) Hartson, raising 5 children. He was the retired manager of the Milford A & P meat department and a US Army WWII veteran.

Gene loved spending time with his family, was an avid golfer until

age 91, loved nature and his walks, 3-4 times a week at his favorite spots throughout Hillsborough County, with family and He is preceded in death by his wife, Marion G. Hartson, and daughter, Cheryl M. Hartson.

He is survived by his daughters Cynthia (Peter) Herbert of New Boston,NH, Karen (Greg) MacIsaac of Paauilo, Hawaii and sons Ronald Hartson of San Jose, California and Richard (Laurra Winters) Hartson of Litchfield,NH, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
