Robert G. Jean Sr.

Robert G. Jean Sr. (Santa), 79, former longtime resident of Milford, NH died on March 5, 2021 at his home in Peterborough, NH, after a lengthy illness surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on April 3, 1941 in Middletown, CT, a son of the late Camille and Rose (Pelletier) Jean.

Bob was a longtime resident of Milford and more recently had been a resident of Dublin and Peterborough, NH.

He faithfully served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in 1964.

Bob spent his working career as a farmer, welder and mechanic.

He was a founding member of Milford & Company Motorcycle Club and a retired member of the Unruly Motorcycle Club of NH. In addition, he was an active life member of the Harley Sanford Post #4368 Milford VFW, and the Ricciardi Hartshorn Post #23 American Legion. Bob also enjoyed time spent riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting, and fabricating things and most importantly time spent with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Robert, was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Nancy Hayward Jean.

Family members include his life partner and trusty side kick, Deblyn Stevens-Luongo of Peterborough, NH; his son and daughter in law, Robert (Buzz) & Rhonda Jean Jr. of Dublin, NH, his daughter and her partner, Becky Jean Stapleton & Wayne Titus of Francestown, NH; grandchildren, Michael, Kelsey, & Cole Jean, Dylan & Kylee Stapleton; two great-grandchildren, Harper & Michael Jean Jr. and their mother Kelsey; step grandchildren, Megan, Ashley, Nick, Ryan & Crystal; and their children Jolie, Colby, Ganton, Kayla & Braydon; former daughter in law Barbara, Rhonda’s sister Lisa and many other extended family members and close friends.

SERVICES: Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory can be made to Memorials Processing, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude PL, Memphis TN, 38105-9959, the Harley Sanford Post #4368 VFW, P.O. Box 71, Milford, NH 03055, the Ricciardi Hartshorn Post #23 American Legion, 15 Cottage Street, Milford, NH 03055 or any local veteran that you may know in need.
