Daniel D. ‘Danny’ Comstock

MILFORD – Daniel D. “Danny” Comstock, 57, a lifelong resident of Milford passed away in his sleep on Friday, July 9th.

He was born on August 15, 1963, a son of Olive (Gravel) Comstock Davison of Milford and the late Allan H. Comstock.

Danny ~ AKA: “Com” spent many years on the Milford Fire Department & EMS in the early 80’s and 90’s and was a graduate of Milford Area Senior High, Class of 1982.

Danny was always a family guy and loved spending as much time with them and his Son at family gatherings.

Danny, like any typical boy, loved taking things apart…especially motors, just to put them back together…but always faster! He spent many hours over the years with his friend, Steve Daudier, improving performance on their sleds, and challenging their skills. His love for snowmobile riding was endless. Danny also enjoyed the outdoors and camping any chance he had with Kevin and friends, they spent many weekends floating down the Saco River soaking in what Mother nature had to offer.

Anyone who knew Danny saw an honest friend who had a heart of gold. He would give anyone the shirt off his back and mostly loved to make people laugh, which was contagious to all. Despite battling his medical issues, Danny never let it get him down, he was always positive…Missing him would be an understatement.

In addition to his mother, family members include his son, Kevin Comstock; his step-dad, William Davison; sister Sue (Comstock) Corron and husband Bill Corron; two nephews, William and Allan Sylvester; a niece, Cassandra Meadows; a great niece, Ava Lynn Sylvester; two great nephews, Oliver and Westley Meadows; and his beloved dog, Bandit.

Memorial visiting hours will be held on July 31, 2021 from 1:00-3:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please go to www.smith-heald.com.
