Westfield, Mass. – Paul Joseph Hutchinson, age 91, devoted husband of 72 years to Ruth M. (Mansur) Hutchinson, passed Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on September 3, 1930 in Milford, New Hampshire, Paul was a son to the late Fred and Kathryn (Doyle) Hutchinson. In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by a brother Fredrick Hutchinson and a grandson Darrell Hutchinson.

Along with his wife, Paul is survived by his sister Pauline Beardsley of Nashua, NH and his beloved 3 children, James Hutchinson and husband Richard Drummond of Westfield, MA, Judy Casey of Springfield, MA, and Robert Hutchinson and wife Kathi Hutchinson of Agawam, MA. He adored his 5 grandchildren, Lisa Anderson, Erin Crandall, Ryan Hutchinson, Lea Hutchinson, and Paul Hutchinson, as well as his 7 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Paul was employed by Beneficial Management for 40 years where he retired as a District Manager in Massachusetts. In his retirement years he continued to enjoy working alongside his wife and their two sons at the family business J. H. Miller Picture Framing Co. of West Springfield, MA.

Paul was a devoted New York Yankees Fan that always enjoyed bringing family to New York to see them play at their home field. Most importantly, Paul was a longtime and dedicated member of Kiwanis International where he served as President of the Nashua, NH Club in 1968 and President of the Westfield, MA Club in 1999. He also received a lifetime achievement award from the Westfield Kiwanis Club in 2013. Paul truly cherished the many friendships he made at Kiwanis and hoped that all of his friends knew how grateful he was to have them in his life.

At this time a private funeral service will be held. Memorial contributions in Paul’s memory can be made to the Westfield Boys and Girls Club or Dakin Humane Society.
