David W. Crawford Sr., 81, a resident of Milford, NH died at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH on May 1, 2022.

He was born on March 11, 1941 in Boston, MA a son of the late Andrew and Bessie (Cassidy) Crawford.

Dave was raised on the family farm in Burlington, MA. He served his country in the United States Army and was Honorably discharged following his service.

He worked for many years as a stone mason and in foundation construction and was proud to comment and point out the many projects he had worked throughout his years.

He was a loving husband, devoted father, coached baseball, supported his children’s sports and activities and he was an adoring animal lover to the many pets and the NH wildlife passing through the yard. What he most enjoyed was deep sea fishing from monitoring the weather, heading to the ocean early to get the best spot on the boat and giving away his catch to friends and family. Dave didn’t eat fish.

Survivors include his loving wife, Susan Crawford of Milford, NH, his two children: David W. Crawford Jr. and his wife Jill of Amherst, NH and Brian Crawford also of Amherst, NH, his sister, Joan Levacchia of Woburn, MA, several cousins, nieces and nephews and his beloved cat Ralphie along with his 3 grand-pups.

SERVICES: A Chapel service with full military honors will be held on May 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH. All are invited to meet directly at the cemetery.
