Josh (Sheepy) Allen

Josh (Sheepy) Allen was a Legend, Local Celebrity, Larger than Life Personality, Center of Attention without meaning to be, Trend Setter, Natural Born Leader, Debater, Soccer Coach, the most loving Son, Brother, Friend, Husband and Father.

Josh was a first born to the Proud Parents of Jeanne Hanlon and Late Jeffrey Allen on September 25th 1978 in Long Beach, CA. A 10 pound 22 inch stunning baby who was born with a natural suntan and huge hands. Josh grew up in Amherst, NH where outdoor and extreme sports were his forte. If it wasn’t dangerous or outdoor, he wasn’t into it. Riding BMX bikes in the Village, skateboarding with his Bro, Ice Hockey at Heaton’s Pond, Soccer, Baseball, Football, Fishing, Water Skiing, Snow Skiing, Snowboarding… and then came GOLF. He had his first hole in 1 on his Birthday, followed by a 2nd Hole in One thereafter. Contact sports sign him up! He played Life Hard, over 20 broken bones and 6 concussions… Josh was invincibly strong and those Mitts… anyone who shook his hand or arm wrestled him knows about his Mitts.

Went to College at Franklin Pierce and then off to Boston where he began his Career in Fashion at Abercrombie & Fitch. Working his way up from sales to Visual Merchandising and Opening various locations where he ran and managed the most successful Manhattan Store Front. He was in charge of hiring only the Beautiful, which is where he hired his best Friend in Life- Dave Annable. Moved to Brooklyn with Jay Andrews for 5 years, and both moved to Los Angeles shortly after being a witness of 9.11. He lived in Los Angeles for 20 years where he meet his wife “My Queen” Summi. They were married in Santa Fe, NM on 11-11-11. 11:11 from the start of their relationship was always the time he would call (not text) just to say I love you. 11:11 still till to this day…. “I love you!” Their greatest Life accomplishment was their pride and joy, August who was named August years prior, but of course was born on August 11th. Josh, Summer & August (The Sheep’s) then moved and settled in Lago Vista, TX May of 2020 where they designed and built their dream home. He was a dedicated member of Northlake Church where he began his journey with God.

Survived by his Wife Summer Segovia Allen and Daughter August Segovia Allen (7yrs.) Mother Jeanne Hanlon, Father Late Jeffrey Allen, StepFather Late Dave Hanlon, Siblings: Justin Allen, Ed Hanlon wife Tracey son Nick, Adam, Jake & Tommy; Bruce Hanlon wife Cathy – Children Dave, Caitlin Sheets, Trevor, Samatha & John Hinzman; Carlene Stewart husband Doug, daughters Hannah and Ashley; Jen Lambert daughters Jessica and Lauren.

Dearest Friends… too many to recognize but we all know who You are!
