Catherine Leknes Argilagos, 69, resident of Milford, NH, died on September 27, 2023

at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH.

She was born on July 14, 1954 in Glen Cove, New York, the daughter of Arthur

W. Leknes, Sr. and Elizabeth (Van Slykes) Leknes Robinson. Catherine was raised

and educated in Trumbull, Connecticut, having graduated from Trumbull High

School, Class of 1972. She graduated from Barrington College, Rhode Island in

1976. Catherine had formerly made her home in Ocala and Fort Pierce, Florida,

before moving to Milford several years ago.

Catherine was a dedicated caregiver to her mother Elizabeth, who predeceased her

in 2021. Cathy enjoyed drawing and painting. She was a fan of vintage movies and

television shows. She was always up for a lunch date with her friends at the Mill

apartments. Cathy loved visiting with her family members, especially her

grandnieces.

Family members include her brother and sister-in-law, Arthur Leknes and Victoria

of Amherst, NH; a nephew, Eric Leknes and his wife, Megan Comstock of

Amherst, NH and three grandnieces; a niece, Brittany Leknes and her husband,

Timothy Kokotovich of Seoul, South Korea.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 26, at 11:00am in the

Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. Burial will be in Lawncroft

Cemetery, Fairfield, Connecticut at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of
