Jacquelyn F. Stewart

Jacquelyn F. Stewart, 89, resident of Milford, New Hampshire, died on November 18, 2023 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH, after a brief illness.

She was born on September 1, 1934 in West Stewartstown, NH, the daughter of Ceil Brigham and Aileen (McAllaster) Brigham. Jackie was raised and educated in Colebrook, NH, graduating from Colebrook Academy, Class of 1952. She then attended the Boston School of Dental Nursing, in Boston, Mass., graduating in 1953. Prior to the birth of her daughter, she worked in Derry and Conway NH in her profession.

Jackie loved her hometown of Colebrook where she spent time enjoying family, friends, community events and dancing most weekends with her husband, Fred. In 1979, Fred’s job, with the telephone company, took them to Manchester, NH where Jackie enjoyed volunteering at the Elliot Hospital and taking trips to the ocean. They returned to Colebrook often with their camper. They enjoyed many weekends at the Mohawk Camping Area visiting their many friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, Frederick P. Stewart, her grandson Corey F. Stoller, and her brother Roland Brigham.

Family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Bruce Stoller of Milford, NH; a grandson, Andrew Stoller and his wife Melanie of Bedford, NH; three great-grandsons, Wyatt, Casey, and Hollis Stoller of Bedford, NH; a brother, Edward Brigham of Manchester, NH; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 12:00 to 12:30pm in the Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home, 103 Main Street, Colebrook, NH. A funeral service will follow at 12:30pm in the funeral home. The burial will be in the Colebrook Village Cemetery, Colebrook, NH at a later date.
