Katherine G. McNally, 77, of Amherst, NH and former longtime resident of Norwalk, CT, passed away on April 30th, 2024, at her home.

She was born in Norwalk, CT on April 28th, 1947, one of two children to the late Frank and Grace (Tucci) Greco.

Katherine began working for the Amherst School District in 1997, first as a Substitute Teacher, then as a Paraprofessional before retiring in 2014. She returned to the school system in a part-time capacity soon after, serving as an Administration Assistant until 2022.

She was pre-deceased by her loving husband Philip J. McNally on June 18th, 2001.

Katherine was an avid reader and loved to knit and teach knitting classes. She was proud to have made several items for celebrities including Paul Newman, JoAnn Woodward, and Diana Ross. She loved her family and friends in Connecticut and New Hampshire, and enjoyed spending time and vacationing with them, particularly on Lake George in New York. But there was nothing that she loved more than her grandchildren.

Surviving family members include her two children, Paul McNally and Frank McNally and his wife Greta, all of Nashua, NH; four grandchildren, Alexander, Michael, Jennifer and Jack and a sister, Francesca and her husband Wayne Prohaska.

A private graveside service will be held at Meadow View Cemetery in Amherst at the convenience of the family. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held in her hometown of Norwalk, CT at a later date.
