Rebecca Durham’s amazing indoor winter continued this week down in Providence, R.I., at the East Coast Invitational Meet. The Milford High senior punched her ticket to the prestigious New Balance Indoor Mile (Feb. 10) in Boston with a victory on Saturday. Her time for the mile was 5:07.10. Durham also came back to dominate a strong field in the two-mile with an 11:00.16 clocking.

The two-mile time was a new meet record for the event.

Teammate Lauren Robinson was second in the two-mile at 11:37 and also placed fourth in the mile (5:13.96).

On the boys side, Will Sheppard, who has already cleared 13-feet this winter, was second in the pole vault. Freshman Caleb Korthals placed 6th in the 2 mile 10:24.82.
