Infinity swim team making major strides

The Infinity Swim Club out of Hampton Hills enjoyed another strong performance over the weekend in a meet at Worcester Poly Tech.

Izzy Balboni was immense all weekend, winning all nine event she entered. Gwen Balboni posted five different personal best times in the meet, winning three of them. Mia Chen also had five personal bests.

Madelyn Arseneau swam the 100 fly for the first time and earned “Regionals” qualification. She also slashed 13.71 seconds off her 100 IM personal best. Jack Bastarache posted three personal bests and lopped a whopping 9.64 seconds off his 200 free. Cali Chappell recorded four personal best times, cutting an aggregate 57 seconds off. Lily Chappell took 11.27 seconds off her 500 free and qualified for Silvers Championship.

Mallory Clifton took 2.23 seconds off her 50 free, and both Hayden Dyer and Addison Ebol delivered six different personal best times. Sean Fifield took 5.28 seconds off his 25 free and 4.75 off 25 back. Katie Gargasz rolled up seven personal best times, breaking 30 seconds in the 50 free and chopping 20 seconds off her 200 free.

Louise Joyce had best times, dropping 25 seconds off in total. Marleigh Kreick had four personal bests, taking 22 seconds off the board. Zoe Kreick swam a pair of personal bests and took 21 seconds off her 100 back. Cari Mastergeorge posted personal bests in all four events, including breaking 60 seconds in the 100 free.

Matteo Morel and Teah-Lou Morel combined for seven different personal best times. Madelyn Northcott shaved 11.60 seconds off her 100 free and Mary Pappas carved seven seconds off her 100 back. Markus Rantala posted personal best times in 8 out of 9 events, hacking 20 seconds off his 1000 free. Mikael Rantala had six personal bests, and Annabelle Sainsbury delivered three.

Colin Turner, Keara Wilson and Hazel Schuft all had three personal best times set over the weekend, while Savino had four, including a five-second improvement in the 100 back. Braelyn Wilson made a 10-second improvement in the 500 free, and Riley Wilson shaved 4.63 seconds off his 100 freestyle time.
