Sabers fall to streaking HB

Hollis Brookline 55, Souhegan 32

The Cavaliers continue to roll over their competition by getting their fifth straight win.

Hollis Brookline had a ten point lead at halftime and went on a 25-4 run late in the game.

Grant Snyder led the team with 14 points, JB Brackett had 10, and Tyler MacDormand added nine points off the bench. Souhegan (7-6) heads to Timberlane on February 12th.

Souhegan 51,

ConVal 36

Jordan Lau Quan put up an 18 point performance including four three-pointers to lead the Sabers (8-5) past ConVal. Andersen Geffrard added 10 points.

Milford 41, Goffstown 36

Despite missing two starters the Spartans squeezed by Goffstown. Jake Greska and Jamie Pare led with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Milford moves to a record of 7-6 and host Timberlane on Friday.

Milford 67,

Bishop Brady 49

Max Fortin led Milford with 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Jamie Pare had 18 points.

Girls Basketball

Goffstown 44,

Milford 29

The Spartans (3-10) continue to slide losing their fourth game in a row.

Elizabeth Paul and Bri DeGroot contributed 11 and eight points respectively.

Milford heads to Timberlane on Friday.

Bishop Brady 73,

Milford 55

Milford fell to Brady despite Bree deGroot’s 23 points and Elizabeth Paul’s 14.

The Cardinals (7-4-1) cruise by Nashua North-Souhegan with Jack Johansen leading the way with three goals.

Ben Peterson had a good night scoring two goals and Max Trawick, Ryan Flynn, Aaron Pratt, Liam Nye, and Dom Calandra each added one goal.

Wrestling

Pinkerton 49, Milford 22

The Spartans couldn’t hold off a stout Pinkerton squad.

Winning by pin Milford were Charlie Carter (126), Ethan Briggs (138), and Ricky DeBernardo (160), while Dominic Goulette won a 15-2 decision at 195.
