Milford 3, Pelham 0

The Spartans, now 10-1, rolled to their eighth straight victory, 25-11, 25-14 and 25-17. Robyn Krafft served five aces, while Isabel Philbrick smacked six Spartan kills. Kailyn Chamberlin dished out 11 assists.

After a tough loss earlier in the week, the Warriors (6-4) earned a shutout win on homecoming weekend. Sophia Sistachs converted two penalty kicks and Brooke Lane completed a free kick. Sam Boette and Sam Yurcak led the midfield on defense. Wilton-Lyndeborough plays Newmarket on Wednesday.

Milford 0, Lebanon 0

Despite the Spartans (7-1-2) firing 26 shots on net, neither team was able to find the back of it ending in a tie.

Alyssa Kennedy, Ashleigh Matsis, and Mikayla Thompson played outstanding

defense.

Goalies Katie Lorden and Jade Gregg combined for four saves on the night.

Boys Soccer

Souhegan 3, Pelham 0

After a long wait, the Sabers (1-8)finally found the win column in a shutout victory over the Pythons.

Miles Drum, Chris Weeden, and Mike Estabrook used the attack scoring one goal each. Ethan Ramm guarded the net brilliantly, making five saves on the day.

Cross Country Black Bear Invitational

The Spartans finished the day in twenty seventh (747 points, 1:43:08). The girls had a better day finishing just outside the top ten in eleventh place (330 points, 1:49:18).

Lauren Robinson led the team with a fourteenth place finish (20:16).

Golf

Milford third

The Spartans 56 points put them behind host Pembroke (68) and overwhelming match winner Kennett (122) at Pembroke Pines.

Jacob Dube, Ryan Cavanaugh and Sean Miles were Milford’s top point getters.
