Elks Soccer Shootout on tap

The Nashua Lodge of Elks 720 will be holding its 19th Annual Greater Nashua “Soccer Shoot” contest on Saturday morning, August 24 from 8:30-11 a.m. at the Main Dunstable Road Soccer Fields in Nashua.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three in each of the 10 divisions, five girls and five boys.

First place winners will compete in the Elks New Hampshire State Soccer Championship Shoot on October 13.

The Elks Greater Nashua Soccer Shoot is a two-stage contest that best represents the skill levels of the five age groups: U8, U10, U12, U14 and U16.

The participant’s age on January 1, 2019 is used to determine the contestant’s age division.

The Elks Shootout is open to all interested boys and girls from area towns including Hudson, Litchfield, Amherst, Bedford, Brookline, Hollis, Merrimack, Milford, Wilton and Nashua.

All participants must register prior to their participation. Registrations will begin at 8:30 a.m.

There is no charge for participating in the Elks Greater Nashua Soccer Shoot. In the event of a rain cancellation, the programs will be rescheduled on Sunday, August 25 at the same location and time.
