After winning the Division II and Meet of Champions titles, the Souhegan High girls had one more superb race in them, placing ninth at the recent New England Championships at Manchester, Conn.

Teams and individual standouts from five of the six New England states – Massachusetts abstained – competed.

Chloe Trudel, second in the MOC the week before, was the top Granite State finisher at New Englands, placing fourth overall.

The Sabers’ sophomore covered the Wickham Park 5K course in 18:43.

Souhegan senior Georgia Jones took 12th in 18:52.

Freshman Masho Primmer finished in 115th, Audrey Littlefield was 148th, Emma Herrero was 176th and Molly Jennings took 212th.
