HOLLIS – At 3-5, Milford High’s boys have plenty of work to do over the second half in the race to the Division II playoffs.

Senior Christian Jones says prepare for something big.

“Once (fellow Spartan senior) Gavin (Urda) gets healthy, teams had better watch out for us,” said Jones.

Ironically, Urda’s ailing ankle is not the only key to the Spartans and a potential second-half surge.

The smooth-shooting Jones certainly needs to play a big role, too.

Slowed by the flu in recent weeks, he is just getting back into the flow. On Tuesday night, he showed flashes.
