Damian Philbrick allowed two hits and struck out nine in seven innings to lead the Spartans (1-8) to their first win of the season. Philbrick, Logan Howard and Chris Bedard had multiple hits.

The Sabers’ drought continues after losing their seventh game in a row.

The Spartans lost their third game in a row.

Jack Seale had a hat trick and an assist in the Spartans’ loss. Other scorers were Logan Barnhill (two goals), Kaleb Francouer (two goals), Andrew Herner (goal) and Braydon Atwood (goal)

James Brew collected 13 saves in net.

LEBANON 8, SOUHEGAN 1

The Sabers (5-4) are in a slump, having lost their fourth straight after starting out 5-0. Josh Goddard picked up their only win at No. 2 singles, 8-4.

At the Salem Freshmen-Sphomore Meet, Souhegan won the 4Ö800 relay in 9:13.77 (Owen Stine, Baxter Paulini, Dallen Noorda, Taloosh Anderson).

The Spartans watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover, despite the hitting of Logan Howard, Nick Conforti and Sean Daykin.

Mike Lima took the loss on the mound for Milford. Landon Bianchi pitched four solid innings of relief.

Sunapee scored two in the first and that was it as the Warriors fell to 4-5 despite the good pitching of Sean Brennan.

After winning their previous two games the Spartans dropped a game at Kearsarge. Logan Barnhill led the team with two goals and two assists. Chuck Urda and Andrew Herner each had a pair of goals. The Spartans clipped Sanborn for their first win of the season. Hayden Dyer (8-6), Ava Hutcheons, Brooke Gizzonio/Adrianna George (8-2), Hutcheons/Marissa Sage (8-0) and Stella Crosby/Dyer (8-2) won matches.

SOUHEGAN 7, COE-BROWN 2

The Sabers remained undefeated after their win against Coe-Brown. Maddie Daniel (8-0), Caroline Drum (8-3), Mishka Tower (8-4) and Tylee Jancar (8-5) won in singles competition. Daniel/Tower (8-1), Drum/Tylee Jancar (8-0) and Megan Sinner/Tess Jancar (8-1) won in doubles.
