BOYS LACROSSE

Merrimack 13, Central 11

Merrimack earned a 13-11 win at home over Manchester Central on Thursday, April 28.

Alec Bronchuk led the Tomahawks with four goals, while Tyler Brewster scored two and assisted on four.

Kyle Newman had a goal and four assists, and dominated at the faceoff.

Freshman T.J. Fasano (two goals, three assists) and Jay Lanigan (four goals) stepped up, while Grant Mercier rounded out the scoring with a goal. Alex Annutto made 13 saves in net for Tomahawks.

Nashua South 18, Merrimack 4

Collin Morrow recorded the 100th goal of his high school career while netting seven goals and assisting on three more to lead Nashua South to an 18-4 win in Merrimack on Saturday.

Shane Puleo (three goals, two assists), Zach Clancy (two goals), Dylan Gamache (two goals, two assists), Sean Holland (three goals) and Myles Johnson (one goal) also appeared on the scoresheet. Goalie Nate Radin made three saves for the win with strong defensive help from Joe Callahan, Mitch King and Brett Roy.

BASEBALL

Merrimack 7, Londonderry 4

Justin Grassini went the distance, allowing four runs (three earned) on nine hits, striking out seven in Merrimack’s 7-4 win over Londonderry on Friday, April 29.

Ryan Slate and Nick Dutton had two hits each, while Pete Reeser and Andrew Michaud finished with one hit and two RBIs apiece for the Tomahawks.

Concord 8, Merrimack 3

Andrew Michaud (two hits, two RBIs) and Chad Seaver (RBI) had solid days at the plate, but the Tomahawks struggled to match Concord’s offense in an 8-3 loss on Thursday, April 28.

Exeter 10, Merrimack 2

Chad Seaver and Justin Grassini each had a hit and an RBI for Merrimack during a lopsided loss on Wednesday, April 27.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Merrimack 15, Nashua South 6

The Tomahawks evened their record at 4-4 on Tuesday.
