Craftworkers’ Guild Holiday Craft Shop set for Nov. 25-Dec. 22

BEDFORD – The Craftworkers’ Guild’s annual Holiday Craft Shop will take place Friday, Nov. 25, through Thursday, Dec. 22, at the historic Kendall House in Bedford. Just in time to start your holiday shopping, the shop will be open daily from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Over 70 Guild member artisans and craftspeople are participating in this year’s New Hampshire Open Doors Craft Shop. "Nothing says love like the gift of something handmade. Our artisans would be pleased to share their talents with you and your loved ones at holiday time. Come find a wide array of gifts for every taste at the Craftworkers’ Guild Holiday Fair," says Craftworkers’s Guild member Denyse Brown.

The Craftworkers’ Guild is proud to announce that we have just won "Best Craft Store" in the 2016 Best of the Souhegan Region Awards. We offer our customers a wide variety of high quality crafts. Work presented in the Holiday Craft Shop is juried by the Guild to maintain a high standard of unique, best quality offerings. Many items are one-of-a-kind and include seasonal décor, photography, fine art and prints, cards, gourmet treats, shaker boxes, woodworking, fiber and fabric, sewn and knitted specialties, stained and fused glass art, mixed media, jewelry in several medias, doll clothes and more.

In response to the requests of many Craftworkers’ Guild fans, the shop will now be open one hour later each evening, closing at 5 p.m. rather than 4 p.m. to give visitors a bit more time to get a head start on their seasonal and holiday shopping.

In addition, the Guild will host a Holiday Shopping Night on Thursday, Dec. 15, from 5-8 p.m. with special offerings and treats available on that night only. The Guild will also hold Gourmet and Goodie weekends with homemade items for sale in the shop on the weekends of Dec. 3 and 4 and Dec. 17 and 18.

The Holiday Craft Fair takes place in the historic Kendall House at 5 Meetinghouse Road, located behind the Bedford Public Library. Parking is free and plentiful. Visit our website www.craftworkersguild.org or Facebook for updates and a sampling of crafts.
