Chorus preps for spring concerts

New Hampshire Gay Men’s Chorus, whose membership, audiences, popularity, and demand for performances have increased significantly in recent years, consists of 40 singers, an artistic director, an accompanist, support staff and board of directors. The chorus is rehearsing for its 20th annual spring concert series, “Celebrating 20 Years: A Generation of Music,” to be performed in Nashua, Manchester, Concord and Portsmouth on May 5, 6, 19, and 20, respectively. The chorus performed several songs for Gov. Chris Sununu and his executive council in Concord on March 21 in the council chambers. This event was historic – it was the first time the chorus performed inside the statehouse in Concord. For information, visit www.nhgmc.com.
