11th annual Egg Festival is April 13

BEDFORD – The Our Promise to Nicholas Foundation recently announced its 11th annual Egg Hunt Festival, scheduled for April 13.

The event will start at 8:30 a.m. and wrap up at noon at the New Hampshire Sportsplex.

For ten years, the foundation has enjoyed the oohs, ahas and the wonderment on the faces of little tikes overwhelmed in Easter egg bliss.

The Easter Bunny is ready with more than 10,000 candy and prize-filled eggs. For those not actively “hunting,” there will be live entertainment by Toe Jam Puppet Band and a professional magician. In addition to the Easter Bunny, there will be princesses, Fisher Cats mascot Fungo, Red Sox Mascot Tessie, bounce houses, games, face painting, a Canvas Road Show, clowns, a silent auction, a bake sale and a huge raffle for amazing Easter baskets.

Tickets are being sold online for $8 per person or $28 per family. By registering online at www.ourpromisetonicholas.com, participants will be assured a speedy entry. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 per person and $32 per family. The Sportsplex field fills up fast, so advanced registration is recommended. Cash, check or charge will be accepted at the door. The New Hampshire Sportsplex is located at 68 Technology Drive in Bedford.

There are many ways in which people can support this event: be an event exhibitor, advertise your business as an event supporter or donate an item for a raffle basket or silent auction. Volunteer opportunities are open for sign-up at www.ourpromisetonicholas.com.
