BeBOLD’S April Speaker Series event

Before Hosting a Prom or Graduation Party, Know the Facts

Hosting an upcoming prom party or graduation party and plan on buying alcohol for underage kids? Buyers Beware! You buy, you could pay. Learn more about the consequences of hosting parties at BeBOLD’s (Bedford – Building Our Lives Drug-free) monthly Speaker Series Event on Monday, April 29th from 7-8pm at the Bedford Public Library in the McAllaster Room. This event is open to parents, guardians and teens.

Danielle Ellston, Sergeant of the NH Liquor Commission, will review the current laws and penalties surrounding underage Party Hosting and show recent cases from offenders from the last couple of years. Sergeant Ellston will also cover Unlawful Possession of Alcohol and the Illegal Transportation of Alcohol by a minor.

BeBOLD is a 501(c)(3) non-profit drug awareness, education and prevention coalition in Bedford, NH.   The coalition includes adult and youth volunteers as well as local police, school and community professionals.   BeBOLD’s mission is to prevent substance abuse in the Bedford community by educating Bedford’s adults and youth about the current dangers of all kinds of substance abuse, including alcohol, illegal drugs, prescription drugs and tobacco.
