The Reverend Robert H. Thompson, former Chaplain of Phillips Exeter Academy, will be featured along with the Bedford Presbyterian Senior Choir, singing spirituals from the African American tradition, many by the famed African American composers, Henry T. Burleigh and William Dawson. Offerings include the famous Were You There, Give Me Jesus, Deep River and There is a Balm in Gilead among others.  

All are invited to be a part of this unusual Maundy Thursday Evening Service, April 18 at 7 PM. The Service will include reflections and readings from our co pastors, along with music from the Black Spiritual tradition, an evening that is certain to connect us to the Almighty in a palpable and unforgettable manner.
