Cutler Memorial Library to host Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki

Thanks to a grant from New Hampshire Humanities, Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki presents, “Storytelling Through Traditional Irish Music,” at Aaron Cutler Memorial Library on Wed., June 26, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. on the library lawn.

Through stories providing historical context and traditional Irish music played on fiddle or guitar, Tirrell-Wysocki relays some of the adventures, misadventures, and emotions experienced by Irish emigrants.

Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki is an award-winning fiddler who grew up playing dances and folk festivals around New England. He has toured nationally with bands in various genres, performed across Ireland, and released multiple recordings of Celtic music that can be heard on radio stations around New England.

New Hampshire Humanities Council (www.nhhc.org) nurtures the joy of learning and inspires community engagement by bringing life-enhancing ideas from the humanities to the people of New Hampshire.

Free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to bring their own seating such as a blanket or lawn chairs.
