3rd annual “BEDFORD GOES RED” for red ribbon week
BeBOLD is looking to TURN BEDFORD RED for a third year in a row during Red Ribbon Week’s national drug prevention initiative held October 23 – 31. “Bedford Goes Red” for Red Ribbon Week is a local, community effort sponsored by BeBOLD to support National Red Ribbon Week.
Help BeBOLD educate our community to stay drug and alcohol-free by displaying red lights and/or red ribbons on your home or place of business during the week of Oct. 23 – 31.
Where can I get red lights? Ace Hardware, located at 209 NH-101 in Bedford (Harvest Market Plaza), has graciously donated red lights of all kinds. Visit Ace to get yours FREE, while supplies last!
Where can I get ribbons? Primary Bank, located at 207 NH-101 in Bedford (Harvest Market Plaza) and Cohen Closing and Title, located at 203 Meetinghouse Road in Bedford. Stop by either of these businesses and get yours FREE, while supplies last!
Once you have your red lights and/or red ribbons displayed, take a video or photo of you “going RED and being BOLD”, send it to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will post it on our social media!
Also in celebration of the “Bedford Goes Red” for Red Ribbon Week campaign, BeBOLD will be providing special activities and giveaways at the Bedford High School Varsity Football game on Friday, October 25th and will be hosting a presentation at Bedford High School on Monday, October 28th from 7-8pm with special guest speakers Bo Chancey, Senior Pastor of Manchester Christian Church and Chris Carpenter, retired professional baseball pitcher who won the Cy Young Award and two World Series Championships.
In addition, look for special messaging regarding social liability and anti-vaping all during Red Ribbon Week.
