‘The Nutcracker’

Lauren Felthun, Lilly Chapman and Cora Steichen, along with many others from Bedford will perform in the Palace Theatre’s upcoming annual production of the timeless classic, “The Nutcracker,” in six magical performances Nov. 29 through Dec. 1.

Thirteen-year old Lauren Felthun of Ross A. Lurgio Middle School will perform the coveted role of Clara in the upcoming production of The Nutcracker. She will also perform the roles of Doll, Arabian Dancer, Snowflake in the Snow Scene and Flower in Waltz of the Flowers. Lauren will be joined by fourteen-year old Cora Steichen of Bedford High School. Cora will perform the roles of Chinese Soloist, a Flower in Waltz of the Flowers, Snowflake in Snow Scene and in the Dance of the Mirliton. Fifteen-year-old Lilly Chapman also attends Bedford High School and will perform the roles of Doll, Spanish Dancer, a Flower in Waltz of the Flowers, Snowflake in Snow Scene and in the Dance of the Mirliton. They will also be joined on stage by Tracy Xie (14) performing as an Elf, Party Girl, Candy Cane and in the Chinese Ensemble; Ava Smith (15) performing as a Maid, Mouse, Candy Cane; Jenny Merk (12) will perform as an Angel, Soldier, Candy Cane; and Taylor Wydom (10) Baby Mouse and Angel; Avery Geraldi (8) as a Polichinelle, and Lexi Murphy (9) performing as a Reindeer.
