Wilton Summerfest set for June 22

WILTON – Summerfest 2019 will be held on Main Street, Saturday June 22, beginning with a pancake breakfast in the Park at 8 a.m., sponsored by the Masons, Clinton Lodge #52..

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Main Street will be closed to traffic and filled with vendors, artists, authors and crafters, live music, demonstrations, and lots of food.

Action moves to Carnival Hill at 6 p.m. for family fun and fireworks.

Main Street Entertainment Schedule:

10 a.m.: McGonagle School of Irish Dance on the big stage

10 – 4 p.m.: Kids activities sponsored by the Boy Scouts at the Police Station lot

11 a.m.: Justin Cohn, acoustic performer

11:30 – 2:30: Escape capsule at the library. Solve puzzles to break the curse

Noon: The Dirty Double Crossers with Paul Driscoll

1 p.m.: Bashirah Belly Dance in front of the park

1:30 – 7 p.m.: Music at nelson’s candies, Sweet tooth and more

2 p.m.: Barbary with Kendal Bush, bluesy rock in the big tent

3 p.m.: Open Mic with Gary Blaisdell and Friends

3:30: Lions Club duck drop on Main Street, from the ladder truck

There are also special deals at Main Street merchants and the Riverview Mill artists’ studios will be open.

At Carnival Hill

6 – 9 p.m.: Games for kids of all ages – sack races, egg toss, 3-legged race, tug of war, Famous Pie Eating contest, all sponsored by the Wilton Community Center

6-9: Bounce House

Dusk: fireworks.

Premium parking $10 per car to benefit the Main Street association.
