Bedford PD offers Autism patch for $10

BEDFORD – Chief John Bryfonski recently announced that the Bedford Police Department will be raising money to support those with Autism Spectrum Disorder during the month of April.

April is Autism Awareness Month, and a commemorative version of the department’s patch will be available to those who make a donation of $10 to benefit Autism Speaks.

Those who would like to donate and received a Bedford Police autism awareness patch can purchase it through the Department’s Facebook page. Patches are only available to residents in the United States, and there is no cost for shipping.

All proceeds will be donated to Autism Speaks.

“These patches provide a great opportunity for the community to show their support for those living with ASD and their families,” Bryfonski said. “Thank you to those who have already purchased a patch so far and helped spread awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder.”
