Townsend Conservation Land Trust Receives Another Month in Hannaford Fundraising Program

Townsend, MA – Townsend Conservation Land Trust, a non-profit committed to the preservation and stewardship of open space in Townsend, has been selected again as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program.

The Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program launched in October 2015 and is designed to support local non-profits through the sale of the reusable Community Bag.

Townsend Conservation Land Trust was selected by Hannaford store leadership as the December beneficiary of the program at the Townsend, MA, Hannaford store. For every reusable Community Bag purchased at the Townsend Hannaford during the month of December, Townsend Conservation Land Trust will receive a $1 donation.

“We are excited to again be chosen as the December recipient of the Hannaford Bags for a Cause program,” said Veronica Kell, the president of the Townsend Conservation Land Trust Board of Directors. “Proceeds from the purchase of these bags will help us to fund the completion of the trail on the Pheasant Ridge property and to offset operation costs.”
