1st Annual Jack Gleason Memorial Ponemah Bog Walk

Sunday, May 19, 8am to 10 am

Join us in remembering and honoring Sanctuary Steward and dedicated environmental activist Jack Gleason, who died August 2018. This walk will be during the peak of spring songbird migration and blooming season of Rhodora, a magenta-flowering shrub abundant at Ponemah Bog. Singing warblers and colorful blooms will accompany our remembrances of Jack during a formal dedication by NH Audubon after the walk. Bring binoculars, a notebook, camera, and dress for possible mud and insect pests. Free and open to the public. Parking is limited at the Bog. RSVP to Phil Brown at pbrown@nhaudubon.org or 224-9909×334.
