Coffee meetup at Buckley’s

Drop in for a cup of morning coffee and chat with Hollis Woman’s Club members on Thursday, June 6th, 9-11 a.m. at Hollis Buckley’s.

New and interested members share a laugh, in photo above, while enjoying the refreshments. Women interested in the club this year include: Lindsey Sud, Yvonne Kleist, Carol Ace, Carole DeHaven, Catherine Livesey, Lee Lowder, Jackie Raibeck, Anita Walker, and Maria Schmidt.

For 112 years the club has fostered community with both philanthropic and social endeavors.

Friendships are formed while fundraising with our annual Old Home Days Apple Pie Contest, Apple and Strawberry Festivals and bi-annual Yard Sale events. The varied social activity groups like Bridge, Projects/Crafts/Knitting, Brooks Groups, and Supper Club provide further opportunities to engage with like-minded women.

Proceeds from member contributions, merchandise sales, and annual fundraising events support civic needs such as youth, senior citizen, education, conservation and other local community activities. The club draws new and existing members from area communities including Nashua, Amherst, Brookline and Pepperell. Any area woman is welcome to join throughout the year. Annual dues are $35. For more information contact Martha Smith at 603-689-9522.
