It’s that time of year again to prepare for the Hollis Fast 5K. Here are the facts:

Date: Thursday, June 13th, 2019

Start Time: 6:30pm (must arrive no later than 5:15pm)

Location: Alpine Grove Banquet Facility, 19 South Depot Road, Rt. 111A, Hollis, NH

The HB Rotary Interact was asked to clean and label over 40 signs that are now advertising the race throughout Hollis, Brookline and Nashua. 12 of our students were able to dedicate an hour of their time to complete this project.

George LeCours, one of the Rotarian organizers of the event, had this to say:  “The Hollis Fast 5K is the Hollis Brookline Rotary Club’s signature fundraising event.  It takes 70 volunteers to execute this race with 1,500 runners.  The Hollis Brookline Rotary Interact Club performs many of the volunteer tasks.  They just completed cleaning and adding date stickers to our 40 signs that are strategically placed throughout Hollis, Brookline and Nashua. When the race needs help, the Interact Club responds. On race day the Interact club helps direct cars to their parking spots, they set up and man the water stops and check gear bags that are transported from the start to our after race location at Alpine Grove.  This group will take on any task.  We are grateful to have them.”
