BROOKLINE – Kilduff-Wirtanen American Legion Post 74 meets the fourth Thursday of the month at 38 Main St., Brookline.

Meetings begin 7 p.m. If you wish to join or have questions about the American Legion, call one of the post officers.

Since we cannot meet physically due to COVID-19, we will conduct our April meeting via telephone.

• May 17: Hollis VFW monthly meeting, 7 p.m., Brookline American Legion Hall;

• May 23: VFW and American Legion poppy distribution at each transfer station, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.;

• May 25: Memorial Day ceremony at Brookline Town Hall, 9:30 a.m.;

• May 25: Memorial Day ceremony at Hollis Town Common, 5 p.m.; and

• May 28: Brookline American Legion monthly meeting, 7 p.m., Brookline American Legion Hall.
