HOLLIS – Joseph Henriksen, 41, of Warner, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal Service on April 24 after being on the lam since January.

According to law enforcement officials, Henriksen was indicted in May 2025 for being in possession of a firearm after he was convicted of three felony drug offenses. He was scheduled for a bail hearing in Merrimack County Superior Court on Jan. 23; however, he failed to appear.

Authorities began searching for Henriksen in February and ultimately found him at a home on Flagg Road two months later.

The Hollis Police Department provided a drone which allowed the arrest team to verify that Henriksen was in the house and was unarmed. As officers approached, Henriksen reportedly attempted to flee; however, he was quickly cornered in the woods by K-9 Taro of the Pepperell, Mass. Police Department and was placed under arrest.

“The resources and local knowledge our partner agencies bring are critical to mission success,” said acting U.S. Marshal Katherine Burns. “Hollis and Pepperell were key partners in this operation and we appreciate their expertise and professionalism.”

Henriksen was held without bail and was scheduled to appear in court on April 27
