MONTHLY BOOK DISCUSSION

The Merrimack Public Library Book Group will meet 7-8:45 p.m. Sept. 20 in the Lowell Room to discuss “The Time Traveler’s Wife.” Open to all. Books are provided. No registration necessary.

WALKING ENGLAND COAST TO COAST

On Sept. 21, from 7-8:30 p.m., Merrimack resident, Rosemarie Rung, shares her recent experience about her walking journey coast to coast through England. She’ll also share tips on how to plan your own trip. Registration is helpful for planning purposes.

ARMCHAIR TRAVEL SERIES – SOUTH AFRICA

Join local residents, photographer Ken Williams and Chef Oonagh Williams for a Discovery Tour based on their travels in South Africa. Enjoy photos, video clips and discussion. Held 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 27 in the Klumpp Room. Registration required.

ONGOING ADULT PROGRAMS

The Merrimack Public Library offers Knit, Stitch or Crochet from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursdays; drop-in tech help (make an appointment with a librarian); a monthly book discussion group that meets at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month; a French Conversation Group that meets 1-2 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month; an Adult Coloring Group that meets from 6:30-8 p.m. Mondays in the Lowell Room; a Cribbage Group meets from 2-3 p.m. Mondays in the Lowell Room – all are invited; a Dungeons & Dragons Gaming Night from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays; a music catalog; an online newsstand; and Kindle library books. ONGOING CHILDREN’S AND TEEN PROGRAMS

A Comics Club Book Group for grades 5-10 meets at 6:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month. Advanced Beginners Book Group, for ages 6-8 with an adult, meets 6:30-7:30 p.m. on the second Monday of the month. The Junior Book Club, for ages 7 and older, meets 6:30-7:30 p.m. on the third Monday of the month.

Storytimes include: Preschool Power, for ages 3-6, at 10:15 a.m. Mondays and 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays; Two & You, for ages 24-36 months with a caregiver, at 10:15 a.m. Tuesdays; and Mother Goose Time, for babies newborn to 24 months with a caregiver, at 10:15 a.m. Thursdays. No registration necessary.
