The Upper Room Announces TURRFF Road Race for the Community
The Upper Room is pleased to announce the April 7, 2019 TURRFF 5K, 10K certified road race to support 4 local charities. This year the TURRFF will be supporting The Upper Room, The Marion Gerrish Community Center, End 68 Hours of Hunger for Derry/Chester and the Greater Derry Humane Society.
We have 10 sponsors on board so far, Parkland Medical Center, Runners Alley, Stonyfield, Launch Methuen, Sensi Cleaning, Brooklyn Bagel House, Wicked Mojo, The Zoo Health Club, Sportszone, and Well Sense which will be sponsoring the kids run, so we are really gearing up for a successful event, filled with music, prizes and fun! This year we are inviting children who have a parent who has participated in the race to be a part of the kids fun run. Or a child under 12, who wants to participate for a donation of 5$ or a canned good that will support the End 68 hours of hunger, or pet food that will support The Humane Society will be able to participate in the kids run.
