Join Lee McTighe on a walking tour of the “New Burying Ground” section of Hillside Cemetery on Highland Street in Townsend Center on Saturday, October 23rd at 2:00 P.M. We will be visiting the resting places of some most unusual former Townsend residents, as well as others who were prominent citizens, philanthropists, and benefactors. Fall is a beautiful time to visit this lovely part of the cemetery, which includes the the only hillside. Apple cider donuts and hot apple cider will be served. Rain date – Sunday, October 24th.
