MERRIMACK – All in the community are invited to the Cruisin’ for Breast Cancer Survivors Car Show Fundraiser, scheduled for Sept. 27 at 30 Daniel Webster Highway alongside Amanda Thomas Boutique within the Harris Pond shopping center in Merrimack.

The beneficiary of the fundraiser is the New England Mobile Fit Clinic (NEMFC), a nonprofit traveling mobile clinic, a stunning pink retrofitted recreational vehicle, bringing products to help restore the personal image and confidence of breast cancer survivors in underserved New England communities.

NEMFC has partnered with the Amanda Thomas Boutique, a women’s health enterprise founded in 2003 and owned by Jacqueline Stati, who named it for her children, Amanda and Thomas.

Amanda Thomas Boutique has been the go-to for breast cancer patients treated with compassion and care for more than 21 years.

The boutique stands as one of the few remaining sources in New England for the wigs, hairpieces, mastectomy bras, prosthetics and compression garments so vital to survivors whose emotional recovery and quality of life have been ravaged. Seven comparable outlets have gone out of business or no longer offer the critical services.

Patricia “Patty” Regan, president of New England Mobile Fit Clinic nonprofit, notes she is a 12-year breast cancer survivor. She now is a longtime cancer advocate focused on promoting breast cancer awareness and fundraising initiatives.

Her partnership with Jacqueline “Jackie” Stati at the Amanda Thomas Boutique has enabled the organization to bring Board Certified Fitters to communities and help improve the quality of life for patients in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and Massachusetts.

They provide fitted bras for post-mastectomy patients, breast prostheses, lymphedema products, and high-quality wigs for those experiencing hair loss from chemotherapy, addressing unique challenges in remote areas.

The bright pink retrofitted RV and wrapping costs were covered by generous anonymous donors and completed by Fleetlink.com in Concord.

“Your participation in the Cruisin’ for Breast Cancer Survivors Car Show Fundraiser ensures we can continue to support breast cancer survivors and provide them with the necessary garments,” said Regan.

The women proudly note that the New England Mobile Fit Clinic, a registered 501c3 organization founded in November of 2024 is operated by certified mastectomy fitters.

“It’s an honor to be able to help breast cancer survivors and fit them with life-changing products,” added Stati.

Stati and Regan shared that the scores of breast cancer survivors reached by the mobile clinic often live in distant, rural or underserved communities. A total of 1,183 bras, 376 breast prostheses, 260 compression garments and 35 wigs have found grateful recipients throughout the New England states.

A full menu of family fun is promised at the upcoming fundraiser.

The Cruisin’ for Breast Cancer Survivors Fundraiser includes classic cars and customs, music by the The Belairs Doo Wop band and DJ music, along with food trucks and raffles.

Cancer survivors are eligible for a special survivor raffle.

In addition, Pink Flamingo garden decorations will be available to add to a stunning flock mounted on the lawn in honor of a survivor. Pink is the traditional color heralding breast cancer awareness.

The New England Mobile Fit Clinic is backed by an active board of directors, a crew of dedicated advocates and a cadre of volunteers. More ladies and men are welcome to become a part of the New England Mobile Fit Clinic operation and its visits to remote communities.
