G. Randolph Staradub

G. Randolph Staradub, 45, of Merrimack, NH, passed away on December 20, 2015 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. He was born on March 13, 1970, the son of Cynthia E. Staradub and the late Gregory M. Staradub.

Randy was a graduate of Nashua High School, Class of 1988. After high school he earned his bachelor of electrical engineering, RPI Class of 1992, and then his master’s degree in computer science from Boston University in the Class of 2003.

Randy was a special person and singularly loving and devoted father to his son, Derek. Randy was employed as a software engineer at Skillsoft in Nashua, NH. He was a member of the First Church UCC of Nashua, serving as member of the Prudential Committee, Budget Committee, Nursery Staff Team Leader, Sunday School Teacher and Fellowship Advisor. He was involved in the coaching team of several soccer and baseball teams within the Merrimack Youth Association. He truly enjoyed working with young people. Randy was also an avid photographer, juggler and a pitcher for his softball team, The Brewers.

Along with his mother Cynthia, Randy is survived by his son Derek E. Staradub (also the son of Christine Ralph) of Merrimack, NH; his sister and brother-in-law, Valerie L. Staradub and her husband James J. McDevitt IV of Redding, CT; his aunts and uncles, Constance L. Staradub of Phoenix, AZ, John E. Birnie, Jr. and his wife Mary of Bethel Park, PA, C. Rodman Birnie and his wife Marilyn of Quincy, MA; his niece and nephew, Caitrin E. McDevitt and James J. McDevitt V.

SERVICES: There will be no visiting hours. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00 am at The First Church, UCC (Congregational), 1 Concord Street, Nashua. Family and friends are invited to attend. Interment prayers and burial will be held at a later date at Edgewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the First Church UCC (Congregational) at 1 Concord Street, Nashua, NH 03064.
