Serge J. Mailhiot, 42, of Manchester, NH, died unexpectedly on April 1st, 2016, at his home.

He was born in Nashua, NH on October 26, 1973, to Julie Patterson and Lucien Mailhiot.

Serge attended Merrimack schools. He participated in youth sports at the Merrimack Youth Association, including hockey, basketball and baseball. He loved all sports and was an avid Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox fan.

He was predeceased by an uncle, Ronald Mailhiot.

Surviving members of his family include his fiancee Nichola Bryant; mother Julie Patterson; father Lucien Mailhiot and his longtime companion Patricia Ahern; sister Heather and her husband Brian Artus and their children, Shaylee, Kyla, and Gavin; grandmother, Barbara Patterson; aunts Melissa Patterson, Jennifer Patterson, Doris Mailhiot, Gertrude and her husband Richard Docos, and Bonnie and her husband Donald Nielsen; uncles Steven Patterson and his wife Pam; and Robert Mailhiot Jr. and his wife Kathy.

A special acknowledgement to the York family, with whom Serge shared so many special moments.

Calling hours were held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH on Wednesday, April 6 from 1-4 PM and 6-8 PM.
