On September 5, 2016, God received an angel, Mark B. Chartier, of Merrimack, NH, while surrounded by his loving family at home.

He was born in Manchester, NH on April 23, 1955, a son of the late Philip and Rita (Sylvester) Chartier.

Mark grew up in Manchester and graduated from Trinity High School in 1973. Mark owned and operated Chartier Company Inc. for 33 years, before going to work as an inside sales rep at Granite Group in Hooksett, NH for the past 12 years.

He enjoyed ATV riding with his family and friends in northern NH. He also enjoyed taking trips to Florida with his wife, daughter, son in-law, granddaughter, and nieces, Tracey and Lori, throughout his life. Mark liked to do woodworking and doing projects outside, as well as driving his John Deere tractor.

In addition to his parents, Mark is predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Phil Chartier.

Members of his family include his wife of 38 years, Deborah (Paris) Chartier; a daughter Cortney Levesque and her husband David of Concord, NH; a granddaughter Emily Levesque; three sisters Aggie Hudon and her husband Peter of Merrimack, Doreen Stonner and her husband Richard of Bedford, NH and Kathy Casey of Auburn, NH; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mark always described his family as his world, but he called his only granddaughter, Emily, the light of his life.

Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, NH on Saturday at 9:30 AM.
