Deborah Allen

Deborah Allen, 77, resident of the Huntington at Nashua, and formerly of Merrimack, died on Saturday October 1, 2016.

She was born in Portsmouth, NH, to the late Ernest and Josephine (Mills) Rosa.

Deborah was a member of the 1st Congregational Church in Merrimack, where she was blessed with a loving church family. For the past 10 years, she was a resident of the Huntington in Nashua, where she made friends with fellow residents and staff members.

She enjoyed listening to Christian music, going out to eat, root beer floats and chocolate. Deborah enjoyed spending time at her cottage in York, Maine, where she loved to sit and listen to the ocean, which she said was very calming.

She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Allen. Surviving members of her family include two sons, John Gary Allen of Memphis, TN, and Jeffrey Allen of Manchester; and a good friend and caregiver, Karen Ford.

Family and friends were invited to attend calling hours at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, on Thursday, October 6th from 5-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the 1st Congregational Church, 7 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack on Friday, October 7th at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Deborah’s name to the Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
