Jesse Fortier
Jesse Fortier, 29, of Merrimack, NH died June 26, 2021. He was born in Nashua, NH on Aug. 17,1991 a son of the late Mark and Cathy (L:Hussier) Fortier.
He was a graduate of Syracuse University, graduating second in his class in mechanical engineering. Soon after graduation, he landed a career at Amphenol where he quickly grew in his position. Outside of work, he was an avid New England’s sports fan where you could see him at almost every sporting event, especially the Boston Bruins. He stayed active by going to the gym as well as playing lacrosse, flag football, snowboarding, and hockey. He had a love for music and enjoyed going to festivals with many of his longtime friends. Some of his favorites included Foo Fighters, Brand New, Blink-182, the classic band Boston, and many many more.
However, Jesse’s biggest passion was riding his motorcycle, Xena, all over New England. Jesse and Xena spent a lot of time up at bike week,in Laconia, laughing it up with the other bikers who had cooler motorcycle names.
Above all else Jesse was a good kid, a great brother, a loyal friend, a proud cat dad and a loving member of his large family. He will be so terribly missed but we know that when we see him again he will be welcoming us with his loud voice, a big hug, and a cold beer.
Jesse is survived by his loving brother Cody Fortier, his aunts Carol and Debra, Uncles Dave and Teddy, and cousins Danielle, Lauren, Jenny, and Kimmy. He is also survived by his grandparents, Leo and Jeannine Foriter and Roger and Irene L’Hussier, many aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends who are family.
