Thanks for success of Hollis Apple Festival

To the Editor:

Despite the weekend weather, the Hollis Woman’s Club and the Hollis Town Band provided a delightful afternoon of delicious apple desserts and music to celebrate the annual Hollis Apple Festival.

These events don’t just happen. Eager volunteers and hours of work produce the wonderful result.

There are so many to thank, and although not everyone can be mentioned by name, they have our heartfelt gratitude for each and every contribution and effort.

Members of the Hollis Woman’s Club (and even some spouses and children), the Hollis Town Band, the Hollis Brookline High School robotics team and many devoted community members pitched in to bring the festival together.

A special thanks also goes out to bandleader Dave Bailey for his eagerness to help with any request.

Local businesses also contributed to the festival with donations and services to help defray the cost of the event. My thanks to the following:

Corporate sponsors include Hollis Construction, Landmark Dental Care, Loftus Law Offices and Tulley.

Supporters include Lull Farm, Brookdale Fruit Farm, Dr. Davis Ice Cream, Wild Salamander Creative Arts Center, Monarchs Care Foundation, Pats Peak, Orde Farm, Mile Away Restaurant, Market Place Diner, Hollis Country Kitchen, Hollis Auto Service, Harvest Market, Fulchino Vineyard, Caren Holliday, Bark Easy Pet Grooming, Lifelong Fitness Hollis, All In Stride Farm, Hollis Village Pet Supply, Zorvino Vineyards, Village Sentry Pet Care, Udelsman Associates, Farm Design, Edward L.
