Taylor wants to bring a new voice to Concord

To the Editor:

My name is Gale Taylor, and I am running for state representative. If elected, I will focus on those issues that will strengthen the economy by supporting small businesses and reducing property taxes, helping students afford college and protecting worker’s rights and human rights, including improving health care, ending pay discrimination and raising the minimum wage.

I support cost-effective, efficient government. I will advocate for a clean energy economy. I understand how important it is to protect New Hampshire’s environment and its natural resources. I believe strong families need a sustainable income, accessible health care and affordable housing. I will dedicate myself to supporting public education at all levels.

I’ve been walking neighborhoods in Brookline and Mason. I’ve heard your thoughts about our communities. I will fight against the fracked natural gas pipeline, and work to reduce property taxes. I’ve enjoyed having a chance to talk with you one on one about our wonderful towns and our state.

I believe that women’s voices in government are critical. Women legislators are strong advocates for family-centric issues, are responsive to constituents and enjoy a can-do spirit founded on respect for the opinions of others.

I offer Brookline and Mason my record as a cooperative partner, leader and team-builder for our community as my credentials to run for state representative. If Brookline and Mason should choose to send me to Concord as their state representative on Nov. 4, my promise is to put the interests of our communities above all else. I have the time, the commitment and the passion to represent you in Concord.
