Required to post a bond

New Hampshire does not require insurance to drive, however, it is my understanding that if a driver has no insurance he or she is required to post a bond in case of accidents. The state however does not verify the posting of said bond.

Since no social security card and hence I assume no social security number will be needed to get a license, how about verifying applicants with no social security number have proof of said bond! After all, if the person has no social security number, how do you know the address they give isn’t fake? By verifying the posting of the bond we at least provide some protection to people who are hit or hurt by a person driving who really has no permanent ties to the area and can just run from their responsibilities that incur from an accident.
